Getting "You do not have access to the selected breakdown elements" error in the custom dashboard I have created in ITBM for all the users.

Hello All,

I am getting following error for the custom Dashboard. I have added interactive filters in it after which I am facing this issue for all the users.

"You do not have access to the selected breakdown elements".

Can someone please help me resolving this issue.

Hi Shri,

Have you shared the various dashboard elements as well as the dashboard.  You need to share both for a user to see the various elements.  If that is not the issue, then you need to check if ACLs are causing the issue.

Thanks for your reply.

I have impersonated user and checked, they can see the report but when report gets loaded, the mentioned error gets pop up at the top. Report is working fine as well.

I have also check ACLs and they are good for that report.

Need your suggestion in this case.

Hi Shri,

If the report is populating properly for you but not for other users, that's a tell tale sign that you haven't shared the report with those users.  Both the dashboard and each of its components need to be shared.  That way you can have one dashboard to service multiple user communities whereby people only see what they are entitled to see.
