Getting table name and record from related list in configurable workspace

Hi Everyone,

I have a related list in CSM Configurable Workspace, when a user clicks "New" on this related list I am looking to pull the table name and the record sys_id from the URL to populate some fields on the new form.

 

I was looking for examples in platform where this is done and I'm coming up empty. Can anyone offer some help?
