GlideAjax calls using Xplore

I know I can test GlideAjax using Ctrl + Shift + Alt + J, but I really like using Xplore so was hoping someone might have the answer for this.  When I try invoking GlideAjax scripts in Xplore I get the message "ReferenceError: GlideAjax is not defined".  I have changed from Service to Client calls in Xplore, but I still get the same error. 

Has anyone managed to invoke GlideAjax using Xplore?
