Global text search not working for Custom table

Hi,

We have a custom table "u_project_accounts".

We need to enable global search for it.

I added the table in "Search groups" under "Tasks".

When i added the table, i got a message displayed that text indexing is automatically creating since the table was not previously indexed and that it would return search results once indexing is completed.

But, it is been 2 days. Still it is not searchable.

I tried checking the indexing status for the table in "Text indexes".

But, the table is not found there.

When i search with any value, in global search , it displays the table "Project Accounts" under tasks as shown below. But not fetching the record.

Please help on how to fix it.

is your custom table extended from Task?

No, it is not extended from Task table

And also you need to add the table in below property under list of tables

[divya23]

But it reads "List of tables (comma-separated) that will not appear as options when setting up Global Text Search tables."

So, i think it should not be added there?
