Hi,
We have a custom table "u_project_accounts".
We need to enable global search for it.
I added the table in "Search groups" under "Tasks".
When i added the table, i got a message displayed that text indexing is automatically creating since the table was not previously indexed and that it would return search results once indexing is completed.
But, it is been 2 days. Still it is not searchable.
I tried checking the indexing status for the table in "Text indexes".
But, the table is not found there.
When i search with any value, in global search , it displays the table "Project Accounts" under tasks as shown below. But not fetching the record.
Please help on how to fix it.

I removed from Tasks search group and created a new search group for the custom table.
And, then i regenerated text index for the table.
It gives the search results now as expected.

Hi Divya,
I am also having the same problems. What did you do to regenerate the text index? When I deleted and recreated, nothing occurred. It still does not find my new records in the new table. Did you do anything with the property? I agree that the property says to not show up in the search, so I haven't did that, but you didn't really say if you did or not.

I will try this, but we are on Istanbul and the documentation shows Jakarta. I wonder if there is an issue with this in Istanbul?

For some reason, the custom table does not exist in the Text Index list. Not sure how to get an entry here. Any thoughts?
