Hello, we have a requirement to change the way that the contract expiration notifications are sent. Instead of using the OOB functionality (Scheduled job runs -> triggers script include -> Condition Check Definitions -> Runs against the expiration condition -> contract.expiration event is fired off -> notification) they want to be able to choose either 30/60/90 days on the contract record and have it notify them ONLY on the condition they have set. For example, they have contracts that require renewal 90 days out, others 30 days out. For those, they would just put 90 days in the contract, and the system would send a notification when the 90 day mark is hit. They really don't want to be notified every 30/60/90 days and are looking for a way to inactive that and have a new workflow.
Would we have to build a similar structure to what is currently there? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
