Some of our instances show "Nearing end of life". Where can get more details about what i need to do and until when? We are on Quebec Patch 7 Hot Fix 2b.

I see. Well, to get an exact date, I would suggest that you post a question on the support site.
Also, this link might be helpful.
"6. When are upgrades scheduled?
Upgrades are scheduled ninety days prior to the family version becoming unsupported (End-of-Life)."

Thank you, i know how to do the upgrades. 🙂 I am just asking why i am already getting this message, makes me a bit nervous. I would like to better understand the time planning behind the message. Also do i need to upgrade to Rome already, or can i avoid this message by upgrading to the latest patch!?

Hi, as a rule of thumb ServiceNow supports versions N -1,
This means you can use the latest family version (Paris, Quebec, Rome, and so on), or one version older than the latest version.
This has nothing to with which patch of the family release you are on.
Currently family releases happen twice a year (Jan and Jul).
So if you are still on Quebec that means you should prepare to upgrade to next version, because when next family release San Diego comes in January you will be forced to upgrade.
I believe the message is a heads up, to prepare for your next upgrade.

Thanks, but this would mean that today, Paris is NOT a supported version anymore. But as far as i know it is. So i guess it´s more a N-2, isn´t it? And we should not be forced to upgrade before ...whatever comes after San Diego..
But yeah, i agree, i believe it´s a heads up, but i haven´t seen this in the past with other N-1 releases.
Many thanks for your help!
