Hide a variable on the Order Guide but not the Catalog item

Hello!

I've Onboard a User Order Guide that displays variable set from Catalog Item.   The issue is that we want to hide some variables on the Order Guide but still display them if the user goes to catalog item to submit a request.   It looks like Client Script is needed for this to work in Helsinki but not sure how.   UI Policy hides the variable on the Order Guide but also on the Catalog Item which wouldn't work for us.

Appreciate any tips on this!

In my catalog item   i have two variable sets. i am using this item in order Guide. at that time in choose option screen it is display to two variable set.it is fine for me. i have another order guide item   in that i want to display only one variable set. can you help me.Thanks

Can u please provide me some solution on the requirement

the scenario is like i need to populate same catalog item for two order guides but up to this it is ok but in these catalog item i have two variable sets which i need to show in the first order guide

in these i need to make false one variable set only for the second order guide . Is it possible to do such if please can u suggest me its little bit urgent.
