Hide Category from Quick Link - CSM Portal

Hi,

in CSM portal - after clicking on "Request Something" below(2nd screenshot) category page open with all categories:

I have a requirement to show only 1 category and hide 1 category and its child categories.

how to hide a category(MS Test Offering ||) only in "Request Something" quick link, for example.

Any help/suggestions how to do it ?

Hi @Gaurav_S0107,

Hiding a 'Category' is easily achieved by navigating to the categories and configuring it accordingly.

Type 'Maintain Categories' into the Navigation menu and click on the menu option.

When you mention you want to 'hide' categories. Is this based on certain conditions such as roles etc?

Thank you for your prompt response.

My requirement is to hide from the "Request Something" quick link, not from the portal.

"MS Test Offering ||" should hide from "Request Something" only which means if I want to use "MS Test Offering ||" from "Get help" quick link(please refer 1st screenshot from above question) then I should be able to use/view/work on it.

Hi @Robbie ,

Below screenshot show my landing page of CSM portal, having quick links, consider now only two - "Request Something" and "Get Help". 

On Clicking on both of links(Request Something and Get Help), I am routing to page (below screenshot) showing multiple categories:

Now my issue is, when I click on "Request Something", I should see categories: 

MS Test Service, Services, Support AND NOT MS Test Offering ||.

When I click on "Get Help", I should see categories: 

MS Test Offering ||, Services, Support AND NOT MS Test Service.

Is there any possible way to do it ?
