The CreatorCon 2027 Call for Content is Open for Business!

Hey there, ServiceNow Community!

It’s that time again! Our CreatorCon Call for Content (CFC) is officially open for CreatorCon 2027!

Call for Content Opens: November 6, 2026
Call for Content Submission Deadline: December 7, 2026

SUBMIT YOUR SESSION!

CreatorCon is the developer-focused part of the annual Knowledge conference. It’s where the best ideas, the boldest builders, and the most passionate problem-solvers come together to share their stories. It’s a place where you can:

  • Explore creative ways to use the Now Platform.
  • Learn from peers and industry experts about the latest tools, features, and innovations.
  • Join hands-on labs, technical sessions, our popular CreatorCon Hackathon, and much more!

Whether you’re a seasoned speaker or stepping onto the stage for the very first time, the CFC is your chance to shape the conversation, inspire your peers, and show off what you’ve built, optimized, implemented, or developed.

Stay Tuned: Your Now[dev]26 Ideas Are Shaping This CFC

We asked, and you answered! Folks who joined us at Now[dev]26 told us what they want to see on the CreatorCon stage, and we’re going to share those topic ideas right here in this blog.

Keep an eye on this post for updates. We’ll add the ideas as we have them, so check back often.

Why does this matter for you? If your session idea lines up with a topic the Community is asking for, you’re giving attendees something they’ve already said they want. That’s a great place to start from.

A few topics that came up again and again:

  • Building with the new UI framework, Lux. This was one of the most requested topics at Now[dev]26.
  • How ServiceNow EmployeeWorks and the platform work better together. Plenty of you want to see this one.

Got a Lux build, an EmployeeWorks integration story, or a lesson learned the hard way? We’d love to hear it.

Pro tip: Even if you’re pitching a hot topic, give it your own angle. What did YOU learn that nobody else can teach?

Because Your Voice Matters

CreatorCon is fueled by real stories from developers, architects, admins, and practitioners like you. We’re looking for:

  • Hands-on demos that show how you solved tough problems.
  • Deep dives into technical challenges, tools, and best practices.
  • Stories of innovation where you pushed ServiceNow to do something new.
  • Tips and tricks that help others move faster, smarter, and better.

And you don’t need years of speaking experience. Some of the most memorable sessions come from people simply sharing what they’ve learned along the way.

How to Submit

Click the link above to head to the CFC portal. After you click “Start,” you’ll be asked to choose your session type. Choose “CreatorCon Session, Lab, or Ask the Expert.”

Next, you’ll land on the submission details page. Select all the options that fit your session. About halfway down, you’ll see “What is the primary focus for this session?” If you’re telling a story about how your solution made a difference in your Community, pick the “Community” option. Not everything has to be about a feature!

So, what’s the story only you can tell?

Earl Duque, Senior Developer Advocate at ServiceNow, put together an in-depth video guide on crafting a compelling CreatorCon submission.

It was made for an earlier CFC, but the advice still holds up. Or keep reading for the written version.

The Foundation of a Great Submission

The Title

This is your first (and maybe only) chance to grab attention. Make it engaging, creative, and a little intriguing. Skip generic titles like “ServiceNow Performance Tips.” Try something like “Why Is My Instance Slow? Finding and Fixing Performance Bottlenecks” or “Top 5 Tips for Accelerating ServiceNow Development.”

The Abstract

Your abstract is your pitch: 2-3 sentences on what you’ll cover and what attendees will walk away with. Keep it exciting but concise. Example: “Learn how to boost your instance’s performance with little-known tips and tricks used by top developers.”

Know Your Audience

CreatorCon draws a mix of:

  • Administrators: focused on platform management and optimization.
  • Developers: building new features, tools, and techniques.
  • Architects: hunting for best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Practitioners: anyone making ServiceNow happen at their organization.

Each group is looking for something specific, so tailor your session to help the right people find it.

Session Types We’re Looking For

  • Technical Deep Dives: in-depth looks at specific technologies, features, or techniques.
  • Case Studies and Success Stories: real implementations, challenges overcome, lessons learned.
  • Hands-On Labs and Workshops: interactive sessions where attendees learn by doing.
  • Tips, Tricks, and Best Practices: actionable advice people can use right away.

Session Lengths

  • 20 minutes: short and sweet, great for quick tips or a new idea.
  • 30 minutes: ideal for more detailed presentations or demos.

Title and Abstract Tips

  • Make it clickable. Be clear, creative, and (if you can) quantify the value.
  • Get a little playful. Instead of “Improving Platform Performance,” try “Why Is My ServiceNow Instance Slow?”
  • Give popular topics a unique angle. For trending subjects like GenAI or agentic AI, bring a niche perspective.
  • Focus on outcomes. Tell attendees exactly what they’ll learn (“In this session, you will learn...”).
  • Highlight key takeaways. What skills or tools will they leave with?
  • Write it for the catalog. Your abstract will appear in the CreatorCon and Knowledge catalog, so write it to attendees.

Why Present?

  • Professional growth and networking: become a thought leader and meet peers, experts, and potential employers.
  • Career advancement: speaking can open doors to new opportunities and collaborations.
  • Recognition and visibility: put your session on your resume or LinkedIn.
  • Personal satisfaction: your experience helps someone else learn faster.
  • Presenter perk: a complimentary ticket to Knowledge 2027.

Advice from Past Speakers

  • Pick a topic you’re passionate about. Your enthusiasm is contagious.
  • Don’t assume knowledge levels. Even experienced folks may not know the feature you’re covering.
  • Mix slides with demos. Variety keeps people engaged.
  • Practice. Rehearse so you hit your key points without rushing or running over.

We can’t wait to see your ideas. Let’s make CreatorCon at Knowledge 2027 the most inspiring, impactful, and awesome one yet.

See you there!
