Hide Filter on Related List

I need to hide the filter when users go to add an item to a related list. This is not in a service catalog but off of our change form where we have CIs as a related list item. By default we have a filter of items we want them to choose from, but we don't want them to have the ability to modify the filter. See screen shot of image of the screen we are looking at.

Is there any way to hide this? It seems this is a global screen on multiple pages. I want to hide it conditionally based on the user's role access.

Right-click on the Related List header > Personalise > List Control > Filter roles.

That only works on the filter that is on the related list view. See my second screen shot to show which one that controls.

Ah i see now, you are referring to the Relationship Editor if i'm not mistaken?

Have you looked at the following:

http://wiki.service-now.com/index.php?title=Defining_CI_Relationships

http://wiki.service-now.com/index.php?title=Suggested_Relationships

These filters are linked to the suggested relastionships, I would amend the suggested relastionships to change what users see when clicking on "edit".

I hope that helps?

Sorry it took me a bit to get back in response to you for this. We just went live with the change module and my time has been consumed with resolving the bugs in that.

I am attaching a word document with screen shots to provide further information on what we are trying to do.
