How can I add a link to the Portal (/sp) in the favorites so all users see it?

I am trying to add the Portal bookmark to all current users and any new users added to the system.
I was able to add a Bookmark via System Definiton -> Bookmarks. I was able to add it to various users but I have to specify which user via the USER field. Would I need to create script to add it to all users?
If I leave it empty and select the AUTO ADD checkbox will it add it to all new users? (I guess I'll get my reply once our ldap feed runs in a few hours)
I noticed that adding the URL as "/sp" opens the Portal within the main pane in UI16 instead of going to the full Portal page. Is does the same thing when I use the full URL instance.service-now.com/sp.
Any idea if there is another way to do this?
thanks!

If it's for all users (current and new), why don't you just add a module to the application navigator, for example on the top of the list?

The filer navigator All Applications list has Portal as the first item. I just wanted to place it into the users favorites. Right how the only thing in a new users favorites is Home which takes you to home.do. I wanted to add Service Portal Home as the next link in favorites for everyone.
