you can check the created by of the catalog item this can give you sense that who created it and then you can go and check him that he belongs to which team.
FOr this go to filter navigator type
sc_cat_item.LIST
and then search your catalog item , open it and right click on the header of catalog item and click SHOW XML
and in that search by created_by , you will see the person name and then from that you can investigate further to who it belongs to.
