I want the variable data that i have on the ritm to show up on the catalog task as well. is there a way to do so?
I have a the same template and variable names set but its not showing up.
and here is the flow for the task creation, it uses a generic template, and it has the same values that match like on the ritm
and variable editor is already present on layout

Hello @thomasmiles
Open any sc task record and click Additional Actions (three horizontal lines at the top left of sc task number) > Configure > Form Layout -> Bring Variable Editor from left to right as shown below:
Hope that helps!

Hi @thomasmiles
A. Add variable Editor formatter
- Open an SC Task: Open any Catalog Task //sc_task.do
- Configure Layout: Right-click the header -> Configure -> Form Layout.
- Add Formatter: In the slushbucket, find Variable Editor and add it to the selected fields list where you want the variables to appear.
- Save: Click Save. The variables will now render in this section for all tasks.
B. Update/Create Catalog UI policy of Catalog item
Go To Maintain Item
Open your specific item
Navigate to Catalog ui policy
The catalog UI policy which is applied to Requested Item ( visible to RITM form),
Ensure the Applies on Catalog Tasks checkbox is checked as well.
