Hello @thomasmiles

Open any sc task record and click Additional Actions (three horizontal lines at the top left of sc task number) > Configure > Form Layout -> Bring Variable Editor from left to right as shown below:

Hope that helps!

the variable editor is already present on the form.

Hi @thomasmiles

A. Add variable Editor formatter

  1. Open an SC Task: Open any Catalog Task //sc_task.do
  2. Configure Layout: Right-click the header -> Configure -> Form Layout.
  3. Add Formatter: In the slushbucket, find Variable Editor and add it to the selected fields list where you want the variables to appear.
  4. Save: Click Save. The variables will now render in this section for all tasks.

B. Update/Create Catalog UI policy of Catalog item

Go To Maintain Item

   Open your specific item

  Navigate to Catalog ui policy

The catalog UI policy which is applied to Requested Item ( visible to RITM form),

Ensure the Applies on Catalog Tasks checkbox is checked as well.
