How can you set a variable/user as one set color for various widgets on a dashboard?

How can I set a user as a specific color on multiple different widgets on a dashboard. see picture for example. User "J" is blue on first widget, Purple on second widget, Orange on third widget, and back to purple on the fourth widget.

As per my knowledge, these legends get created by system and we hv no access to this code.
