I have a landing page with a huge dashboard which has a lot of processing that takes a lot of time.
I would like to change the landing page to something that is less intensive so that I can get to my menus faster and save time.
Can someone tell me how?
the user preferences cog menu on the right top has display, theme, accessibility and notification settings.

Hi @prith06,

Are you using the latest 'Next Experience' UI or the previous standard UI16?

To configure a landing page on 'Next Experience', see the below link for instructions:

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/washingtondc-platform-user-interface/page/administer/navigation-a...

If you're using UI16, at login let the existing heavyweight dashboard load and then simply change the dashboard to something suitable and lightweight. From here you can then navigate to any module such as incident etc.

The user preferences will pick up your last visited dashboard on login and use this the next time you log in.

To help others (or for me to help you more directly), please mark this response correct by clicking on Accept as Solution and/or Helpful.

Thanks, Robbie

Hey Robbie,

I'm on Next Experience. Sorry, I should have mentioned it in the Opener.

@prith06 ,

If you want to set the landing page for you only and don't want to change it for everyone.

Kindly find below steps.

  1. In your instance, select the user menu
  2. In the user menu list, select Preferences.
  3. Select the Display tile.
  4. Select the Current start page list.

Kindly find below article for reference.

Hope this helps!

Kindly mark helpful/accepted if assists.

Thank you!
