Our company is trying to add the variable editor to our Story forms so we can see information from an associated RITM/SCTASK. For clarification, I'm referring to the rm_story table, which extends the task table. Because of this, I'd assume that it's possible to utilize the variable editor.
I've followed the instructions from KB0538897 , creating the new Variable Editor formatter on the story table and have added it to the story form layout. The knowledge document makes it seem like these are the only steps needed to get this to work, but none of the variables are appearing when creating a new story from a RITM. Am I missing something? It doesn't mention anywhere updating a script or a workflow to make sure the story and ritm variable editors are synced but it seems like something else needs to be done for this to work correctly.
