Hi Swami,

You need to have security_admin role to provide elevate role access to any user. If you don’t have the role then you will not be able to provide the access.

Please follow below steps to provide the required access.

  1. Login to the instance with "System administrator" profile or with any user profile that already has security_admin role.
  2. Elevate the roles from little lock icon on the top right corner of the header.
  3. Go to sys_user.list and open the record of the selected user
  4. In the Roles related list, click on 'Edit'
  5. Add the security_admin role in the slushbucket and 'Save'

Please mark correct/helpful if applicable.

Hi,

1) First Elevate your role as security_admin

2) Open the user record for whom you want to give the option

3) Under Roles related list, you can click edit and add security_admin role.

Mark as correct and helpful if it solved your query.
