How do I resolve problem with an Invalid Update error 'Match not found; reset to original' trying to assign an RITM task in ServiceNow to a different support group? (RITM0369188/TASK0000225753).

Classification: For internal use only
Hi,
I found the error. I attempted to put the name of one of my team's KB articles in the 'Knowledge Article' field, not realizing that the name had to match some internal table. When I removed this entry the update was successful.
It would be nice if the error named the field that failed the test.

Hi Joel,
This error is generally seen when you try to update the value in reference field which doesn't exist in the referenced table. Can you please share the screenshot.

Hi Joel,
I have a similar problem with CI - Location references.
You stated: When I removed this entry the update was successful.
Can you explain what you removed?
