How do I resolve problem with an Invalid Update error   'Match not found; reset to original' trying to assign an RITM task in ServiceNow to a different support group?   (RITM0369188/TASK0000225753).

Hi,



I found the error. I attempted to put the name of one of my team's KB articles in the 'Knowledge Article' field, not realizing that the name had to match some internal table. When I removed this entry the update was successful.



It would be nice if the error named the field that failed the test.

This might be a delayed response for you , but will be useful for someone else who face the same issue.

Resolution  - Use Sys_id rather than value.
