How do we default to a currency and still offer the other currency options

Hi,

I would like to add the CAD currency to the financial tab of the asset form.   I have already updated the following:

1. Updated the system localization to include the correct settings (e.g. en.CAD and CAD) as per Defining Locales - ServiceNow Wiki

2. Updated the currencies table to activate CAD

I tried checking the property in System Localization for "Use a single currency model. Display all currencies in the same currency code, regardless of a user's locale, country, or language code", but that resulted in only showing CAD and not the other currencies.   I still need the other currencies.

The only solution I found to work was to set each user's country code in the sys_user table to Canada, but I'm hoping that there's another way where we don't need to set user's record, but rather have a global way to set it as the default option regardless of the user's locale, but still offer the other currencies as options.

I have resolved it.   There's no need to answer.   It was the setting that was messed up.   The same steps should still be followed, but language and country was set to en.CAD instead of the correct one en.CA -> I've spotted that and changed it and got it to work.

Hello Monette,

As per your querry, you wanted to make the currency default for Asset form.

The setting for system localization that you have performed may make all the currency fields of the instance defaulted to CA rather than only assset form.

Is there any way we could achieve this for a particular form and not all.
