How does Requested for on RITM get populated?

Can someone help me understand how the requested_for field on RITM gets populated when a ticket is opened for someone else?  For example, System Administrator requests a cable for Abraham Lincoln on the Service Portal.

Our implementation vendor modified the REQ and RITM requested_for and it's currently not working.  I'm having trouble understanding how requested_for is populated OOB so I can find where the problem lies.

Seems you need to request this information from your 'implementation vendor'. And have them fix your problem. And based on your screenshot, you enter the desired value in the "Requested for" field.

That was 5 years ago and they are no longer in business.

I suppose broken implementations are why they are no longer in business. Hopefully, some other Community member with more knowledge on the Service Catalog feature will post here.

Unsure, if you did check for corresponding workflows or so for the request. If not, please give it a check once to understand.
