How does servicenow get it's system currency... and how will it know the current user's currency

How can I know how the system calculates the price and how does it get converted in the instance for any catalog item, based on the country code and the language ?

and how does the sys property " glide.system.locale" affect this,

I found the way to change the system's currency from System localization- checked the use one currency and set it to what I needed (Y)
