How does the cancel button on a request work in the Service Operation Workspace view?

we have cancel button on request and it is working as expected from technician view but we want to add cancel button on request in service operation workspace view. so that user will able to cancel request in sow. how can we modify ui action to give this functionality or is there any way to achieve this in service now?

That’s the wrong practice you’re following. Don't cancel the request; it’s better to close it as "Incomplete," as that's the better option. Now, in your case, the button on the SOW is called "UX Declarative Actions," so you need to create a new UI action and map it to the UX Declarative Actions. Once you do that, it should work for you.
But again, I repeat my point: don’t increase the technical debt.

We have already Cancel button in technician view on INC form. Its working as expected. My requirement is : How we can add same cancel button in SOW= Service operations workspace. functionality should work. Please do needful
