How Group By UI action works

In List view, there is a functionality to group by, where can i see the configuration done...its a UI action but i am not able to find it.

In Tokyo release, i can see there there is new feature added while grouping by, so i want to check if we can do the changes as it was earlier

As per my knowledge, we cannot find that because that is something that is not made available in ServiceNow to developers and is accessible by ServiceNow only.

@ST9 There are a lot of configurations / code which are not visible to admin users ad well.

That are stored outside servicenow instance.
