Hello there
By mistake I made an instance in the Tokyo release instead of Utah. After giving up the Tokyo instance, I've been waiting for a new instance for about ten days. How long is the usual wait time?
kind regards

Hi @MrBob ,
The wait time for a new developer instance can vary depending on several factors, such as the current demand for instances, the availability of resources, and any technical issues that may arise during the provisioning process. In general, the wait time for a new developer instance is typically a few days, but it can sometimes take up to a week or more.
If you have been waiting for more than ten days for a new instance, it may be worth reaching out to ServiceNow's support team to inquire about the status of your request and see if there are any issues that may be causing delays. You can also try submitting a new request for an instance in the Utah release to see if that speeds up the process.
Thanks,
Ratnakar

Thank you for the help. I contacted servicenow support, though the wrong one, so they couldn't help. In the end I got my instance after waiting a few more days.
Kind Regards

Hi @MrBob ,
For your information, I have heard of two cases where they had been on a waitlist forever. After a while they opted out of the waitlist and once again requested a fresh instance - this was granted right away.
If you think this will help you and opt out is up to you - but I could be a solution to get one right away.
If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as accepted solution and give a thumb up.
