How RITM gets created once Request is Submitted

Hi,

For a catalog item, I am submitting the request after filling in all the details. A request gets created on sc_request. But can anyone tell me how Requested Item(RITM) gets creayed along with the request submission?

As Fedoruk said - when a catalog item is ordered the requested items get created then are attached to the request.   The requested item(s) workfow will only run once the parent request is approved.
