How to add all field changes to activity log in form widget in service portal ?

Hi All,

I have a form widget to display a record on portal. As of now when ever I have posted any comments, will be added/displayed in activity log. but other field changes are not capturing/adding to activity log. now I want to add any fields changes to be captured and displayed on activity log.

Please suggest.

Hi,

You'd have to clone the ticket conversations widget and script this out yourself as field changes within the conversation log aren't displayed out of box. Here's a conversation about it that can help you get started, otherwise, you may want to consider an alternate route such as adding the field to the list of field on the right-hand side or instead, using something like a business rule to add a comment to the record to simply state that a field value has changed that way you aren't cloning and customizing this widget.
