How to add columns to activity tab?

I want to add the field comments into the Activity Tab of the consumable form. Though I have selected this column in the activity tab's filter, I am unable to see this field the the activity tab.

Please help me.

So you have written something into the comments field and saved and it still doesn't show up in the log, is that correct?

Hi Goran,



I want to include one field 'comments' to appear in activity tab once I update it.But when I update it and check activity Tab, I am unable to find any entry over there for this 'comments' field.Please help me.activity.PNG

Hi Rupsingh,



First of all please make sure you have selected the "Activities (filtered)" column from the form layout. Here is how you do it :


Right click on form header >> go to Configure >> Form Layout >> Look for the field "Activities (filtered)" in the "Selected" Slush bucket. If its not there select it from the "Available" slush bucket >> Save. After this return back to the form. You will find the "Activity" field. Right click on the Activity field >> go to Configure Activities >> Select the field (Comments or Additional Comments) in the "Selected" slush bucket >> Save.


Now write a comment in the field and save the form. See it will appear in the activity area.
