How to add custom filter in the idea portal

We've recently added some custom fields to the Idea Task form, and we'd like to make them available as filters in the Idea Portal. Would anyone be able to assist us with this?

Sure, I can guide you through the steps to make custom fields available as filters in the Idea Portal. Here's how you can do it:

1. Navigate to the Idea Portal.
2. Click on the gear icon on the right side of the screen to open the settings.
3. In the settings, you will see a section for "Filter Fields".
4. Click on the "New" button to add a new filter field.
5. In the "Field" dropdown, select the custom field that you want to add as a filter.
6. If you want to set a default value for the filter, you can do so in the "Default Value" field.
7. Click on the "Submit" button to save the changes.

Please note that the custom field must be a choice list, reference field, or boolean field to be used as a filter. Other types of fields cannot be used as filters.
