How to add Embedded List to Form Layout / Form Design

These are Contract form layout(attachments), but only one of the two instances I'm using shows the 'Asset Covered -> Like-kind returned asset' , and one is not visible. 

Is there a way to add 'Asset Covered -> Like-kind returned asset(Embedded List)' to an instance where the item is not visible?
