How to add interactive filter on dashboard for elements in choice table?

Hi All,

We have a table named 'Compliance requests' and we need interactive filter on dashboard for these requests to filtered by region.

But there isn't any field on request table which refers to region(location) table.

Instead, there is Office (reference field) column which is refering to custom table and on that table there is region (choice) field. We want those values to be shown in our interactive filter

Can you please guide me how we can create such filter please

I'm note sure you can do a dot walk on an interactive filter. Have you tried making a interactive filter based on a choice list. Then choosing the office table and the field region? Screenshot below using reference location table since I don't have an office table.

Yes I tried, but dashboard is not filtered, because reports are build on Compliance requests and on this table there isn't any field which have region choices

This Region field is on Office table and on Requests table there is field which refers to Office table

I think I may have figured it out. After you create you interactive filter as I suggested there is a tab at the bottom called Interactive Filter Reference. You can then build the reference there. For example below I pointed at the location table for my interactive filter and then for the reference I choose the incident table and dot walked to caller location.
