How to add sub categories in Knowledge Management

Hi All,

I have a requirement to add sub categories in Knowledge Management on Service Portal.

Once user logged in to Service Portal, Click on Knowledge Management Icon it needs to showcase the list of Knowledge articles. which was added on each category.

My requirement is, when user clicks on category, one additional sub category should get listed below that. 

 Then user needs to click on sub category, related knowledge articles needs to be showcase over there.

If anyone worked on this scenario, please provide the steps to achieve this requirement.

Configure Service Portal to Display Categories and Subcategories:

  • Navigate to Service Portal > Content Management.
  • Edit the Knowledge Management widget or page where you want to display categories and subcategories.
  • Add a widget or module that lists the categories.
  • Configure the widget to display both main categories and subcategories.
  • Ensure that clicking on a category displays its corresponding subcategories.
