How to allow technicians to accept appointments they have booked on behalf of users

Hi

In our organisation the Service Desk also run the in-person assistance service.

This means that they often need to accept and assign to themselves walk-up appointments that they have booked for the user themselves.

The OOB Appointment Facade script include prevents this currently, but before I start trying to write a new Script Include that extends the Appointment Facade one and overrides that restriction I just wanted to check if anyone was aware of a more simple solution?

It seems like this would be a pretty standard setting that would be possible to customise without having to write a load of script.
