How to allow to copy and paste the value for a select box field Variable

As it stands I just a circled cross icon and no mouse cursor to highlight the value. Does anyone know how to allow to copy and paste the value for a select box field Variable into a 3rd part system.

You can't but this is not a problem unique to ServiceNow, you can't copy values of any select fields on any website.
