How to assign roles for service portal to view certain widget

Based on the roles given to a customer, widgets and header menu bar should be viewed. For eg: if a user is assignee,they get to view the approvals of the items in the header menu bar whereas the normal user   will not have the approvals in the header menu bar.How can I achieve this?

Navigate to Service Portal> Widget, open the widget record and assign one or more roles. This is what is required to access the widget.

Thanks for the quick response. I checked with the widget where I can assign the roles but there is nothing for roles in menus under service portal.


How can I assign roles to the header menu.

I don't know that the header menu can have a role assigned to it. You may want to consider a different page (that uses a different header) based on the role.


All the other pages has the same format for header menu. This part is more important for the requirement I have got.Please help
