How to auto close the major incident(major_incident_state==accepted) after 6 moths from created date? can anyone help me on the scripting part.

Hi Ankur - I have same requirement and business still wants to proceed with this. Per checking the OOB, I just need to comment out the certain script where it exclude the major incident right for this to work? From line 23 to 27. Please see attached file. Apologies, I am a beginner in Servicenow. Thank you!

Hi
OOB is actually abbreviation for out of box, which basically means the default config that you get when you fresh install the instance. so OOB business rule means, the BRs which comes as default.
You can go ahead with what Ankur proposed, It should be done manually, auto-closing would defeat the purpose of Major incident
