How to change the image on the home page of the ServiceNow Agent app?

Hello community,

I am trying to configure the Agent app for our ITSM users to consume, soon, given the impending deprecation of the Legacy app.

I cannot figure out how to change the image on the default homepage--the "Applications" section--in the Agent app. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Note: I have already had success (thanks to the community) in updating the correlated image in the Mobile app. Here's that info if anyone needs it. This doesn't help me with changing the image in the Agent app though, unless I'm missing something inherently apparent.

Heard back from SN support on this and am posting their recommendation. This did not allow us to change the picture I posted originally, but it did help us to remove the nonsensical "Applications" nav menu from the Agent app, and the page where that image was found, entirely.

If you're having this same issue, you should be able to remove the "Application" nav menu section by opening the "Mobile Agent" navigation file:

https://[yourinstance].service-now.com/nav_to.do?uri=sys_sg_navigation.do?sys_id=679d4f0653d033002d96ddeeff7b1279

Then set "Legacy application" to false and save.

After that, log out of (or impersonate someone) then back into the instance on the Agent app, and you should no longer see the "Applications" nav menu at the bottom, and therefore, the image in that page should no longer be an issue.

Good luck!

Hi

basically the so-called "hero image" for the Agent Mobile app was not intended to be changed, and I don't know whether there is now an option for this.

But with the help of the system property glide.sg.hide_applications_screen_image = "true" you can hide the image.

Hope that helps.

Thank you sir. This helps. And I'm not satisfied, and have opened a Case w/ SN support. I will post back here if I find an answer that way on how to replace the image, not merely hide it.

Nonetheless I appreciate your response and have for now marked it as the answer here. Thank you!
