How to check at the back-end that 'Downtime Start/End Time' must be within 'Planned Start/End date

Hi,

we have a field 'downtime start and downtime end' ,when user try to fill the date which is outside the Planned start date and planned end date, an error message must be displayed for the requestors to correct the Downtime window as per the Planned implementation timelines.

Please help me to resolve this issue.

Hi Nandini,

This can be achieved using the OnChange UI Policy as below. We have to write two OnChange UI Policies on the table to validate the Downtime Start/End timings. Attached are the screenshots of UI Polciy created to valudate the Downtime Start timings. You can create a similar one to handle the Downtime End timing validation.

Hi @Nandini DM

You can do this, via UI policy. I am not going to repeat as @Gummagatta Hars  provided in screenshot , which is crisp and clear.
