How to clone my existing instance

Hey Servicenow Team,
I using the free-trial version of ServiceNow. I want to clone my existing instance. I created a user with roles admin and clone admin still when I'm trying to create a new record in Clone Targets as per the instruction given here still I'm unable to create a clone copy of my instance. Can you help me with detailed steps on how to clone the existing instance? Moreover what should input should be given in the Instance URL section or should we leave it as is?(below screenshot)

Hi Madhav,
Not sure if we can clone our Developer instances to any specific target.
Did you try replacing the URL of the instance as well? If so, was it a Developer instance as well? If you are looking for clone check then I doubt that can be done for Demo/Developer instances. If needed you can do a Reset for your instance from the Developer's site.

Please refer below
Lets say you have a source instance as (https://source.servicenow.com)
And a target instance as (https://target.servicenow.com)
Step#1: To create a Clone Target, Login into your instance which needs to be cloned.
Navigate to System Clone > Clone Targets. Click New.
Create a new record like:
Step#2: To start the clone process
Navigate to System Clone > Request Clone.
Select a Target instance to receive the cloned data.
Step#3: Confirmation message you would see:
Step#4: Check the clone progress (System Clone > Active Clones and select a request):
MOST IMPORTANT: Be careful about your source & target instance, you would always go to sourcing instance to make a clone instance.
