How to create a metric on removal of embedded list record

We have alm_asset table and assets covered is a related list and it contains fields like asset ,contracts etc.

We have metrics as a related list on alm_asset table .

We want to create a metric on removal of asset covered record if lifecycle stage of contrct is not ideation.
