Hi All,

Greeting.I am completely new to this Servicenow and I am in the process of evaluating this great tool.

I would like to know some basic information about Servicenow platform.

In which technology it is been developed.,? I am able to see the DEMO/public sandbox to do trials, but if I want my own instance then what needs to be done.

What are all the procedures needs to be completed to create my own instance..So that I can do my own customization..?

I could not see these details in Google..Can anyone advice me..??

Thanks in advance

Chitra

Thank you Gurpreet..Its really informative..

Is there any time limitation like only these many days I can use this DEV instance ?

Thanks a lot for your time.

There are no limitations on using the personal dev instances as long as you log in every 14 or so days.   You get a notification if you start to come up to the time limit without logging in.   Otherwise, it's yours to use as you please.

In the past I've also seen ServiceNow provision an instance, temporarily, for companies that were interested in the product.   I am not sure if they continue to do this since the developer instances are available.

you could also use demo instances

https://demoXXX.service-now.com/login.do

XXX could be any value between 001 through 024

The demo instances are not working. I am getting error like this

"Service Interruption - This instance is unavailable."

I want to use REST API. But Demo instances are not working   to check with REST. Please help me and I am new to Service Now.
