How to create an announcement on the portal page to appear on the banner and widget?

I am trying to create a portal announcement in ServiceNow on the Widget and Banner on the portal page.

I created a new announcement completing all the fields on the announcement set up, I saved it and went to the service portal and then refresh the page but the announcement does not seem to come up on the portal page.

I am not sure If I was supposed to do anything else other than creating a new announcement, Please kindly assist,

What is your timezone (user profile)? I can see it must be shown today at 7AM.

CST is 6 AM now, so either make it to 6 AM or wait for 1 hr to see changes.

if the date/time has reached then only it will be seen.

To test if announcements are showing up or not try giving correct date/time and select correct user based on timezone.
