How to disable global search

Hi,

I used this documentation to add another option to the search. (The user can choose either global or service operation workspace): https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/vancouver-platform-administration/page/administer/search-administ...

Is there any way to stay only with the Service Operation Workspace search and disable the global?
