How to Display Current Date on Homepage?

Debbi L

We need to add a widget/report/something to a homepage that displays the current date. Thus far, I have found nothing that will work; everything that I've seen references pop ups or fields in a form.

Background: We have a homepage that is downloaded to PDF every day and submitted to a higher level manager. Since they are submitted in hard copy, it's difficult to keep track of when they were created, unless the submitter hand writes the date. This seems counter-intuitive, so I'm trying to find a way to date-stamp the page. I can do it to an individual report, but not a homepage *comprised* of individual reports.

Thanks!

Customized Widgets

Use this link and see how to create a custom widget to your homepage that fits your needs and requirements

But can this be added to a homepage? I've created the widget, but there does not seem to be a way to add it to the homepage using Add Content.

Its rather tricky. You can create a ServiceNow UI page that shows s a web page, then make the UI page into a custom widget (the one you created already) and then it can be added to dashboards and homepages.
