Hello,
In lists, when I let my mouse over a field (for instance "Description" from incident list), if the value of the field is too long, the UI should display the entire value (in a black popup), but it doesn't work anymore (probably since we are in Istanbul). For information, we have activated the list v3 plugin, but we have deactivated the list v3 properties, so that we still use list v2.
As you can see, the "Description" field is too long (there are three points). When I let my mouse over the value of this field, nothing happens, and it doesn't display the value content.
Have you ever experienced this issue? Does anyone know why it doesn't work?
Best regards,

It doesnt work for me as well some times. I think if the content is too long, it takes a while to display. You have to keep to cursor for some time and see if it works.

Hello Sanjiv,
Unfertunately, it doesn't work with short descriptions as well (too long to be displayed directly but not a lot of lines). I can wait for 5 minutes with my mouse over a field, it nevers displays the entire content. Do you think of another solution?
Best regards,

Hi,
We have seen this same issue on Jakarta patch 1. This is what Servicenow support replied:
"Regarding the mouse hover not working in List layout, this is confirmed as a known PRB "PRB944713"
This is fixed in Kingston and also should be fixed as part of Jakarta patch 3 which is tentatively targetted for a September release ( towards the end of the month).
In the meanwhile, if you enable List v3 this not an issue as its only happening with list v2. This could be used as a workaround."
