How to duplicate a service request (REQXXXXXXX) and allow submitter to edit it before submission?

Hi Community,  how are you. I have a request from my customer. He want to know if it is possible to rework on a rejected service request.  1. I don't know if it is possible. if not possible, why it is designed in this way. 2. is there a workaround? I am aware of the "clone request" function. but I found the request will be automatically submitted after clone. Is there a way to just clone, NOT submit? Thank you all.

Hi @major li,

if a Request is rejected, then it's not possible to continue working on it, it's recommended to create a new record if needed.

There are background processes, workflows, other "invisible" events and synchronisation between REQ, RITM (and optionally SCTASKs). You might be able to continue with admin rights but it's not recommended as it might bring complications afterwards
