Hello ServiceNow Experts,
I’m facing an issue where a read-only Script Include is throwing strict mode errors, even though I haven’t explicitly used "use strict" in my code. Since the Script Include is locked due to the read policy, I can’t modify it to investigate further or make changes.
What I Need Help With:
- Why would I encounter strict mode errors without explicitly enabling "use strict"?
- Is there a way to disable strict mode for this Script Include or avoid the error entirely?
- Any suggestions or workarounds to handle strict mode errors in such scenarios?
I’d greatly appreciate any guidance, best practices, or insights from the community!
