Mid server       user name
 PL....123         Mid server
PL....124         Mid server
PL....125        Mid server
we would like to know the CI's which are discovered by PL....123  mid server(here three mid servers having same user account)

Hi,

Were you able to determine which ci was discovered by which mid-server ?

Hi @shrikarvs
As per best practice, single user account shouldn't be used for the multiple mid servers. Each mid server should have unique mid server account.

We have 120 Mid-Servers mainly due to a semi-large domain separated event management installation and this a good example why you need to have separate user ids for each Mid-Server. The naming convention and numbering should also support future reporting needs (eg Discovery, EM, Agent Client Collectors for MetricIntelligence Mids and reporting data, if needed).

Most of the relevant data is written into log tables and ecc_queue table . Have a look into Discovery's Device history table. Could give you some relevant information. But still top one recommendation: add unique user ids for each Mid-Server.
